Duration: Proposed: 2 hours each day, starting 4 days a week, then 3, then 2.
Format: Lecture, demonstration, discussion, and trying things.
Requirements: You need to have your own laptop, know how to use it, and bring it every time.
You need to have time to practice 4 hours a day outside of class, or the class is no use.

First session Introduction: Why go to the next level? Why the web is important. Why learn more about it? How the web works (non-technical!) Summary of what we can learn in the next three sessions. [ details ]
Second session The Code: html for structure, css for display; file naming; folders and architecture. [ details ]
Third session Make your website work for you: Searching, forms, newsfeeds, mail lists. Reaching the world through your own website. [ details ]
Fourth session Web applications: forms and programming. Website security: It's a bad bad world out there. [ details ]
